Missing Daddy on Monday

Here are some pictures for you, Daddy.
We miss you and wish you were here to share this great weather with us.
But with these pictures we send our love.
Your Gals
Here's us at the Norfolk Zoo.
Mia would like a turtle like this for our backyard.
The girls LOVE running around the backyard.
The weather has been so nice.  And so far there are not many mosquitos.
Emma is beautiful in her white dress.

And boy can she dance.

Mia, do you have anything you want to show Daddy?
Nice, Mia.

Here she is wearing her beach-hat, one slipper, one rain boot, and playing (stomping the hell outta) the roll up piano.
Man, being awesomely cute is tiring.
Here is the popsicle I was eating when you called.

A final (grown up) pose for you from Emma.
Fly Safe.
Stay Well.
Know that we love you very, very much.
Jen, Emma, and Mia

Our own backyard

While Daddy is in Korea (again), the little ladies and I are having some girl time.
This morning we played in the backyard- nothing special- just another one of those happy Saturday mornings.

Emma loves to play "Airport Security".
Seriously.
She lines things up and then pushes them through the "Screening Window" one by one.

If they don't go easy, she gives 'em a good shove.
How beautiful is her hair?  She is growing up so fast these days.

Little Sister is getting so big, too!  She will be 2 years old on the 16th.

After throwing/dumping the basket of plastic kitchenware, she steals both pieces of chalk and makes a happy getaway.
She's got mad bubble-mower skills!
"I throw it!"

More again soon
We miss you, Daddy!

Frawberry Picking: Good Clean Fun

Whew, what a morning!
Jen and her friend, Alina had the great idea of taking their 5 collective children strawberry picking at a local farm.
Turns out strawberries, as well as the act of picking them, can be very messy.  Especially when you add in a ditch full of water.
Luke and Emma hold hands on the hay ride, just so they wouldn't be scared.
"I picking frawberries!"

The owner told us we could eat as many as we wanted while we were picking.
Mia took them up on the offer in a big way.
Luke pauses to show us the strawberry he's about to eat in one bite.
"Oh ya, watch this!"
Anna peers out from under her sunhat
Still seems like a pretty good idea, right?
Mia eyes the ditch full of water and makes a run for it.
Looks like she sat in it long enough for her diaper to absorb a substantial amount of ditch water.
But, whatever,  Not going to stop her from picking frawberries.
Double fisted frawberry picking!

We couldn't believe how many bright red berries there were.
A rare moment of twin-cooperation
Mikey prepares to dump Mommy's hard work.
Mia eyes some sandy dirt.
And throws fist-fulls of it into the air.
The strawberries were so yummy that Mia was licking them off of her chin while I worked to remove the clothing, mud, and dirt, from her little body.
