Classic Colorado - Part 2; Too much Tom, too little lycra

Classic Colorado, Part 2
The fam took a short jaunt from Ft Morgan to the mountains...
P.S. By short jaunt, I am referring to the 4+ hour drive in stop & go traffic which is popular with children under the age of 4.

Welcome sign to the Courage Classic...
3 Days
160 miles
10,000'+ vertical feet of climbing
Father, Son & ...ME (Tom) taking it all on!

The Three Amigos...Dusty Bottoms (Dad), Little Ned (Brother Greg),

Spiral staircases make the best toys...and are completely safe.

"Throw your hands in the a-ir like you just don't ca-re!"

A mid-ride break with the fam before tackling Vail Pass...20 miles of sheer fun! Emma & Mia were decked out supporting Team "Forza Pagano" -- HOT!

Riding in from Day 1 ride...don't be jealous of my Buns of Steel.

Lucky, Ned and Dusty after completing Day 1, a ride from Leadville to Copper Mtn. The ride included climbs over Tennessee and Vail Pass -- 60 miles, and over 4,500 vertical feet.

Em teaches M all about horticulture and the effects of high altitude

The rewards of finishing Day 3...

...Hugs, Kisses, sore ass...(when you ride 160 miles, you can make wise comments)

Nothing but smiles from the Pagani, Virginia Chapter

Poppy, T, Em & M pose for post-ride pics.

Many thanks to all who donated & contributed on behalf of Team "Forza Pagano"...
Looking forward to the 2010 ride & hope to get more participants.

Fat Tire, Sam the Dog, Emma, and Jen make for good company post ride.

Classic Colorado - Part 1

Em & M were very gracious to put some of their hard earned money from bagging groceries at the Commissary towards paying for a family vacation back in good ole Colorado. Thanks kids!

"Fly me to the moon..." - Mia croon'd us the entire trip to Colorado.
Made for a very pleasant trip

"I am this many!" Emma exclaimed during a small birthday party in her honor in small-town Ft Morgan.

"Feed me...NOW!"

Pool time fun in sun which was especially warm on the Colorado plains

Mia's stare-down contest with a toad...Mia totally won.

Bloomin' beauties

Flower cheers...

After Mia's stare-down with the toad, she took on a Orang at the Denver zoo...
The Orang was a formidable match, but Mia prevailed and took home a killer Championship belt -- Cost me $15 cause our bag was over weight.

Emma took a break from manning the guns to get in a few slides.

Jen and I are seriously in trouble when this girl is a teenager. Way too cute!

Relaxin' on the porch with Grandma & Grandpa...& Looking good!

Splash down.

Nothing more fun than a box, your sister, and dad to slide you around

Trouble-maker #2

Everyone's smiling but Grandma...what's the beef?

Worn out after a week of fun with Jen's family...no better way to end the week.
