Life's a Beach

Mia's 1st day at the beach;

Today's shining success follows yesterday's sad misadventure wherein we were lied to by the liars at http://www.virginia.org/site/description.asp?attrID=34941 .

Contrary to the bold lettering on their site welcoming pets to Buckroe Beach, we were told as we set our gear down on the sand that dogs are, in fact, NOT allowed at Buckroe Beach.  Back home we went with Shorty and our 2 crying girls.

We regrouped, reapplied the sunscreen, and returned to conquer!

Backyard Pool

Beautiful Emma in our little backyard pool
Today I shall thrill my audience with my pool-emptying moves.And... begin.

And to the YMCA where she gets some exercise watching Emma's gymnastics class.
When she gets tired, WE get to do the pushing.

And she's done!  We may have a future professional eater here.

After a mid-day bath, Mia opened her presents.

Here Mia is scooting through the tunnel!  Good thing she's started walking, as she is wearing out the seat of all her pants.
Seriously.  She is carrying purses through the house.

I left Mia with Tom while I went to pick Emma up from school.

We returned to find THIS!

Heaven help us.... she's walking.

Perhaps it was the irresistible lure of the musical camel-toy Tom brought back for her.

Tom is driving from Baltimore today and will arrive any time now!

Here we are with another photo update of the Pagano Girls!
